Why Reupholster?
If you have already invested money in buying a good quality sofa, suite or chair why start all over again? Many people just want a new look, a different colour or just a change of scene, but their furniture has much more life in it yet. Our workshop can produce loose covers or reupholster your furniture in fixed covers that can transform a tired sofa or worn vintage chair, keeping all the beauty of the original features. The other benefit is keeping your old furniture out of landfill which also helps our environment.
The Process
We start by making an appointment to look at the furniture and discuss what ideas you have for your project. We can provide swatch books for fabrics or you are welcome to provide your own, but please bear in mind your chosen fabric needs to suit the job and we always recommend you use materials that are Fire Retardant. We are happy to advise more on this when we meet you.
We will then write up your quote and provide you with an estimate of how long it will take us to compete the job at our workshop in Leigh on Sea. If you choose to go ahead with us, we will ask for a deposit to secure the job and purchase the fabric to begin on your reupholstery project.
Extra Touches or Furry Companions?
